Dr. Ersan further enhanced his clinical skills as an Assistant Professor at Karadeniz Technical University, where he also trained future orthodontists.

Makaela is the organisational engine behind Mars Orthodontics! After more than six years as a dental assistant, she has swapped the scrubs for spreadsheets (and still some scrubs) as she steps confidently into practice management. She’s excited to grow her career with a team that’s just as supportive and energetic as she is.
When she’s not making sure the clinic runs like a well-oiled spaceship, you’ll find her at the gym, soaking up the sun at the beach, or doing anything that keeps her feeling healthy and happy. She’s all about good vibes, smooth systems, and making every patient’s smile journey feel easy, enjoyable, and stress-free.
Candice is our highly experienced dental assistant, bringing over 13 years of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her depth of understanding and calm, capable nature makes her an invaluable part of every patient’s journey.
She is deeply committed to ensuring that everyone feels cared for, both patients and team alike, and approaches her work with genuine enthusiasm and attention to detail.
Outside of the clinic, Candice enjoys tending to her home-grown vegetable garden and spending time outdoors, where her green thumb truly shines. She has a true passion for caring for her animals, sharing her home with 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 birds, and a lively flock of chickens.
Mady is our bright and bubbly orthodontic assistant, known for her warm, welcoming nature. With four years of orthodontic assisting experience, she brings both confidence and care to every appointment, ensuring each patient’s experience feels personal, positive, and seamless.
Outside of her scrubs, Mady can often be found enjoying walks with her two beloved sausage dogs. Originally from Toowoomba, she loves embracing life in Brisbane; whether that’s exploring the city’s diverse food scene, discovering new spots, or taking in the local scenery. She has a genuine appreciation for the outdoors and finds joy in hiking, travelling, and making the most of Queensland’s natural beauty.
Kayley is our front-of-office superstar. With over a year of administration experience under her belt, she’s your go-to for getting things sorted quickly, smoothly, and with a smile.
Originally from Adelaide, Kayley is loving life in Brisbane and spends her free time exploring everything the city has to offer. You’ll often find her strolling along the South Bank riverside, soaking up the sunshine (and yes… the occasional sunburn) while embracing her new surroundings. She spends her cosy time indoors with her cat Winston, who she never fails to talk about.
